The role of ACMQ is to provide education and training for its members and others in the field of medical quality management. It derives that role from its mission, which focuses on promoting competence in the core curriculum for the practice of medical quality management and clinical quality improvement.
ACMQ will publish the new Core Curriculum for Medical Quality Management in early 2005.
Board certification in the core competencies is under development.
ACMQ requires competence in the essential skills and knowledge to earn the designation of ACMQ Fellow. Only members of ACMQ can hold the credential of Fellow or Distinguished Fellow.
Join us at the 2005 National Conference in Washington, DC. We are once again joining with the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) for many of our sessions, including the 5th Annual Healthcare Quality Improvement Institute. ACMQ will offer twenty hours of education, plus our ACMQ awards luncheon and business meeting and a networking cocktail reception.
Visit the National Conference section of this Web site for a detailed program and hotel and travel information, as well as a registration form that you can submit online or complete, print, and fax or mail to the ACMQ office.
