This catalogue contains the professional policies of the American College of Medical Quality (ACMQ).
These policies were prepared by the Ethics and Professional Policy Committee and adopted by ACMQ's board of trustees after extensive review by a national advisory panel of experts. They are revised and updated regularly.
We offer these policies for use by third party payors, providers, managed care organizations, utilization review organizations, legislative and regulatory agencies of state and federal governments, and other health care entities involved in medical quality management and the development of health care policy. We believe they will be of assistance in the development and evaluation of healthcare delivery systems.
These policies may not represent the positions of all members of ACMQ but reflect the consensus of the members of the committee, the board of trustees and the advisory panel.
The American College of Medical Quality (ACMQ) is the specialty society of physicians with expertise in medical quality management, recognized by the American Medical Association.
