Program Goal:
To imbed Life Safety and Environment of Care principles into clinical operations, by creating programs, that prioritize work force safety, prepare for disruption of day-to-day activities while continuing to prepare individualized needs of different populations.
Objectives:
- Illustrate safety concepts that need to be consistent in management plans, and the essential pieces derived from the standards for Emergency Management, Utilities Management, Safety, Security, and Hazardous materials, etc.
- Demonstrate how the safety measures are used in clinical operations and the three priority areas:
- Work force Safety, Needlesticks and Emergency Management
- Describe the environment that interdisciplinary education is conducted to foster communication, immediate feedback and continuous improvement for vulnerable populations as well as the community.
- Share how the program evolved to prepare clinical team members for new frontiers such as Aging Adults, Environmental Threats, and Sustainability
